Hi I'm Lawson
Ever find yourself thinking, “Okay… WTF is going on with me?” Whether you are a teen feeling the weight of the world or a parent watching your child struggle, it’s easy to feel stuck in a loop you can't control. My office is a "Safe Zone" designed to handle the messy complexities of emotional regulation and stress. We don't just sit with the overwhelm; we build a tactical campaign to defeat the "Bosses" winning your week and help you reclaim your agency.
Who I Work With
I specialize in working with adolescents (ages 10-18) and young adults navigating the high-pressure transitions of school, social life, and identity. I also partner with families who feel like their 'Family OS' is crashing and need a pragmatic roadmap to restore secure connection and stability.
My Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, strategic, and active. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all models, but I do believe in building frameworks that make the inner chaos understandable. My goal is to help you "debug" the loops that keep you stuck and build a more resilient emotional operating system.

Our work centers on four key pillars:
-
The Triangle – Analyzing the real-time data between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to untangle self-defeating loops.
-
The Field – Mapping the external systems, environments, and relationships that shaped your current "firmware" so we can update it for who you are today.
-
Regulation – Building the tactical tools needed to manage your nervous system so it stops "overheating" and starts working for you.
-
Feedback Loops – Learning how to monitor your patterns with curiosity, allowing you to shift from automatic reactions to intentional, strategic choices.

We’ll slow down enough to get honest—but we’ll keep moving so we don’t get stuck in the mud.
A Bit About Me
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years as an IT Project Manager overseeing complex systems. I learned early on how to identify 'glitches,' map out dependencies, and build roadmaps for success. Today, I apply that same systems-thinking to the most complex system there is: the human experience. I don’t just sit and nod; I help you troubleshoot the loops that keep you stuck.
What You Can Expect
Expect a strategic partner. We will identify the specific obstacles winning your week and build a tactical 'Skill Tree' to defeat them. My goal is to give you the agency to stop reacting to your environment and start mastering it.
